This week in Arizona HOSA...

Now that our Chapter Leadership Camp Registration has closed, we are getting all of our materials and supplies organized and prepped for our LARGEST CAMP EVER!! We are so excited to be welcoming over 415 HOSA members and advisors up in Williams in just two weeks time!

We are also working collaboratively with our other CTSO's State Advisors to recruit some really valuable presenters and workshop sessions to help develop those professional, employability, and leadership skills! We are excited to be working on this CTSO "Stadium Takeover" and hope that you'll consider joining us!

Announcements!!!

NEW FOR THIS WEEK -

The deadline for registration for Red Zone has been extended to October 30th! We heard everyone's concerns about the original deadline happening while many schools were scheduled for Fall Break, so it has been extended.
If you are attending Chapter Leadership Camp, you should have received an email from me with your chapter's color team assignments as well as the really important links for all of your attendees to fill out! We can't wait to see you there soon!

Our Camp is still looking for a large number of Kitchen Crew volunteers! If you're attending Camp and can bring a few additional students from other clubs, or even an extra chaperone, please let me know right away! THANK YOU!
Don't forget to let us know if you are interested in joining one of our committees! Our Board of Directors will be meeting this week for our Fall meeting, and will be sending out committee information soon after to all those who have expressed interest already.

We are continuing to work on updating all pages of the website, but unfortunately are still without an AzHOSA assistant at this time, so we thank you for your patience on a few of these pages that are taking a bit longer to update than anticipated!

This week's Advisor To-Do's:

Start introducing your students to the multiple different competitive events that HOSA offers, by using the Competitions page on our National HOSA website! Once you know where they might want to compete, you can always start gathering the study resources to help them prepare!
- Want a tip? Reach out to the publisher and ask them for a sample text for review. They will almost always send you a copy!
Please let me know ASAP if you are interested in joining one of our new committees! Each team is looking for a couple more local advisors to have their voices heard, and support the goals of a successful chartered association!

AzHOSA Shout-Outs!

Each year, the Washington Leadership Academy provides HOSA leaders with some of the highest quality training in both leadership and advocacy, along with some amazing opportunities for tours around the beautiful Washington D.C. But we also know that due to the timing and cost of this trip, it can sometimes be a tough one to attend for our local chapters.

So this week's Shout-out goes to Renee Goodluck, from Valley HS who was able to bring her chapter to have, what we hope was an incredible experience for her and her members!

So THANK YOU, Renee! We appreciate the efforts you made to bring your students to this event and hope you all had a great trip!!
